Who We Are

At the beginning of 2022, two friends with a shared taste for music and a collective desire to create next-level events decided to bring their ideas to life. What surfaced from this siamese dream between Tyler Purcell and Nick Weise was Headnod Entertainment, a music collective focused on producing high-quality events in the DMV and spotlighting the artists that exist within it.

Following a frenzied debut in the growing bass scene of Baltimore, Maryland, Headnod Entertainment quickly began to realize that their influence reached far beyond the live stage. Today, Headnod Entertainment exists as a production company, event curator, talent agency, and champion for artists of the underground music scene looking to make their presence felt inside and outside of the DMV.

While we mainly operate out of DC and Baltimore, our reach extends well beyond the borders of our district. From philanthropies and festivals to promoters and agencies, we have worked with a bevy of different players in the electronic music space and constantly seek out new collaborations that contribute to our mission.
